Happy Easter !

I'm still banging my head in somewhat for saving over one of my web pages.
It's not the first time it happened, but this time it had a full page of photos and captions instead of only two the first time. At least I remembered what pictures were on that page. As for the captions, they'll be put back up when time permits.
Well, it looks like both teams who contended for the Stanley Cup last season won't make the playoffs this year...a first in quite awhile. The Edmonton Oilers were eliminated over two weeks ago, and it looks like our Carolina Hurricanes won't make it either. They've lost three in a row and are currently on the outside looking in, four points behind the Montréal Canadiens for the final playoff spot. The 'Canes have four games left, with one later today on the road against the Florida Panthers. Even if they do make the playoffs, it's most likely the 'Canes will be out in the first round anyway. Their power play is atrocious, and injuries still continue. I believe they haven't had a week without one of their main defensemen out on the shelf for a period of time. Plus, there isn't enough playoff experience in the nets. Although goaltender Cam Ward led the team to the Stanley Cup last season and won the Conn Smythe Trophy, both he and John Grahame have been fairly inconsistent throughout this season...with the team winning no more than three games in a row and primarily on a win-loss roller coaster ride. The playoffs have very little room for error. Poor team play has also been at fault as mentioned earlier. We can't blame the goaltenders for everything, can we? Let's just say it's a lose-lose situation this time. Maybe next season.
With all that said, I'm gonna have to go with my other home state and say Buffalo Sabres all the way.
From there...baseball and NASCAR. Jeff Gordon fans will be towed!
All right, enough with the boring sports news. Easter is next Sunday. Too bad I don't hunt for eggs anymore.
At least it's a day off from work. Meh, busy. Oh yeah...for those who use Google Earth, some of my scenic photos are posted on there courtesy of Panoramio. It's available for anyone who is interested in posting their area images on the world map for others to see. I still need to go around and look through the pictures of others. There's some intriguing scapes, especially from many of the ancient landmarks and coastal regions. Check 'em out.
It's late here, although I don't really have a "bedtime."
I will be around to my other friends' journals within the next couple days to leave a yap. Until then, g'night all! Take care.
P.S. I recently won $250,000.00 on a Powerball ticket, so I'm set on bills for quite some time... Maybe a new Hummer, or possibly BIGFOOT.

APRIL FOOLS!!
I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night though.
Hah! April Fools back to you. Guess what the last entry is on my list of ten weird things about myself. Give up? Come on over and check.
