Happy Easter !

I was able to go to Shenandoah National Park and, as you can see above, the majestic Luray Caverns in northern Virginia this past weekend. Fall foliage hasn't quite gotten to peak there, but the different colors of the leaves throughout the landscapes are highly noticeable and glorious.
The only unfortunate item of the trip was that there was fog over much of the south end of Shenandoah National Park, therefore many of the overlooks were not visible...mainly on the west side of Skyline Drive. Nonetheless, I had a great time. There are more pictures on Foxx Trotter's Cavern. Go and see, though I recommend that you actually visit both at least one time in your lives.
Oh yeah, I recently downloaded Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. The look of the fonts are much better, but there is an issue here on Bravejournal using this search engine version of not seeing other people's journals properly. This includes most of my friends' sites as well. Everything gets all scrunched up together and becomes completely unreadable. I have to use either Netscape or Mozilla Firefox to look at these without that problem. The reason I don't use one of these two search engines normally is because some websites won't load properly on them, including mine. It comes up misaligned and looks crappy. I guess each search engine has occasional problems in its own little way.
One more rant. Our Carolina Hurricanes are really f*ckin' pathetic right now. It's like Duke University football...hockey style. If you know how bad Duke is at football these past few years, then you'd know what I'm talking about. Anyways, since that shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres on opening night last Wednesday, they've been playing like complete sh*t. Tonight was no different, although the team did get it together later in the game but still lost. Hopefully, they'll do better Friday against the Atlanta Thrashers. Otherwise, I'll have to root for another team this year.
...And speaking of the Buffalo Sabres, their new logo sucks. It looks a lot like the Buffalo Bills one, too simple. I like the one they had much better.
I'll be in Alabama next week visiting relatives, unless something comes up in which I'd have to delay the trip a week like I did last year. Anyways, there won't be another entry for at least two weeks. Until my return, take care all.
